Cell Phone Policy: Students at Preston High School are prohibited from using cell phones and/or electronic devices (including, but not limited to cell phones, ipods/mp3 players, palm pilots) at all times during the school day ( 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) in any school building or on school grounds.
Attendance Policy: Students are required to be in attendance at school at least 90% of the time that school is in session during each school term. (Board Policy 522.)
A student will receive a “No Credit” (NC) grade in a class when absent in excess of four (4) periods per semester. Absence from school for any reason other than a school related activity will be counted toward the four days. Students who are tardy more than 10 minutes in a class will be considered absent.
